Job Summary

The Regional Director will develop, execute and adapt all key growth sales strategies and tactics to achieve business targets through developing new business and growing clientele base by building positive and ongoing relationships with our clients. S/he will manage a team’s sales pipeline to ensure they are continually meeting revenue targets. Will work closely with the VP of Sales to drive over regional sales and develop AAs and ADs. Regional Directors will also work closely with the Partnership Management Team to build and foster market school relationships.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, coach, develop and motivate a team of high-performing Academic Advisors/Area Directors/Partnership Managers to foster an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork both regionally and companywide
  • Coordinate the management of lead flow and follow-up, manage outbound contacts and prospect interactions, oversee and assist in consultative sales activities with prospects and continuous education with clients
  • Monitor and manage sales metrics and performance indicators to maximize all elements of the selling process; accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams, driving profitable growth
  • Leadership: lead the sales team to ensure that client expectations are consistently exceeded and maintain a high degree of professionalism in all customer interactions
  • Responsible for monthly sales quotas of responsible VC or Region
  • Actively engage in business development activities including attending fairs, conventions and community events to promote your business and generate new leads, as needed
  • Identify opportunities to influence brand recognition beyond current client base. Ensure outstanding customer service to achieve company’s Net Promoter Score goals
  • Reports directly to the VP of Sales; work closely with the Marketing team to strategically create, implement, and execute sales strategy to gain market share and exceed sales goals

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Previous B2C sales management experience preferred
  • Has led a successful Sales Team
  • Must be able to identify talent and foster growth
  • Has reported to VP level in an organization or above
  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to travel within local territory
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet business needs and exceed sales targets
  • Work effectively to manage a high performance team

Education and Experience:

BA required, Advanced degree preferred – Industry network/partnerships strongly desired

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
